The
memorial was a tribute to the tragic incident that happened exactly a year
ago. A rendition of ‘God Bless America’
was performed as numerous citizens, bomb survivors and even politicians held
hand together as they mark the
anniversary of a horror that shook the nation.
After a few speeches by the
survivors, President Biden states that, "I've never witnessed a tribute
like I heard today." to the survivors. "My God, you have survived and
you have soared. You are truly inspiring. I've never heard anything so
beautiful as what all of you just said."
The vice president is also impressed by the
courage and braveness of the Boston citizen.
