Vice President of America voices out at Boston bombing memorial

The memorial was a tribute to the tragic incident that happened exactly a year ago.  A rendition of ‘God Bless America’ was performed as numerous citizens, bomb survivors and even politicians held hand together as they mark the anniversary of a horror that shook the nation.

After a few speeches by the survivors, President Biden states that, "I've never witnessed a tribute like I heard today." to the survivors. "My God, you have survived and you have soared. You are truly inspiring. I've never heard anything so beautiful as what all of you just said."

The vice president is also impressed by the courage and braveness of the Boston citizen.

Two brothers arrested for cannibalism, again

The Pakistan duo were previously arrested and put in jail for cannibalism. The sibling prisoners have recently been release a year ago. The sibling has again being arrested after police discovers a child’s heavily injured head at their home in a village in Pakistan. Police said that both men admitted on eating human flesh.

The two brothers were serving a two year jail term for dismembering a woman’s corpse from a graveyard.

Asian air pollution could cause changes in global weather patterns

A research states that air pollution from Asian countries directly affects the pattern of storms over the Pacific Ocean region. Researcher speculates that this could be causing extreme winter in North America. It is also reported by the U.S Embassy in Beijing, China recorded the levels of polution. Citizens of Beijing were warned to avoid outdoor activities as the result of smog is 18 times the recommended standard sat by the World Health Organization.

Although results has only show the impact on the Pacific Ocean region, researchers says that it could effects on global scale if the pollution continues.

Around 200 girls kidnapped by Boko Haram

Around 200 young girls were kidnapped from their schools in Nigeria by Boko Haram, A heavily armed criminal that abducts girls with vehicles like trucks, vans and buses. Fortunately, there is one among the 200 girls that escaped and are providing useful information to the officials.

“Western education is sin” is the direct translation of Boko Haram. Boko Haram is well known for attacking schools in the northeast. A video was released by the group on mid-March. Their leader has ever since threatened to launch a series of abduction.

Former Italian prime minister to serve one-year community service

Silvio Burlusconi, former president of Italy is to serve a year of community service at a nursing home for tax frauding. The 77-year old billionaire must visit a elderly centre once a week at for a minimum 4 hours.

He was initially handed a four-year sentence for tax frauding last August. Additionally, he has also been expelled the senate of Italy and can never hold public office over a course of two years. Though it was not clear whether the court allow Berlusconi to activate his campaigh for his Forza Italia party next month.

Way to go Piano Guy!


A "The River of Dreams: A Billy Joel Tribute Concert" was organized by a kindergarten on Wednesday in front of an audience consisting of their peers, teachers, families and the Piano Guy, Billy Joel himself.

The Long Island local music icon Billy Joel arrived 5 minutes before the concert starts. Joel arrived just and took a seat in the back. The musical legend rejected the principle Nomi Rosen,  offer to invite him on stage because he didn't want to make the children nervous.

Deasy Elementary will organize a tribute to a different musical artist annually, the music teacher prepares a tribute to a different artist. What makes this year special is there is an actual artist whom came and support. Rosen said.

New wed husband suspect deports to South Africa

British business man Shrien Dewani has been accused on attempting to murder his new wed wife, Anni Dewani last November. The business man denies such accusation.


Dewani has avoided deportation for the past three years on mental health therapy, but upon losing his latest appeal, authorities have agreed to return him to South Africa to stand trial. 

The deportation request was approved on the proviso that if Dewani was not fit to stand trial in the next 18 months, he will be returned to the United Kingdom.

Honduras tops world's highest murder rate country

According to reporters in the United States on Thursday, Honduras tops the list of world's highest murder rate. Averagely, There are 90.4 homicides per 100,000 people in Honduras in 2012, The report has also  analysed the intentional homicides of about 437,000 people around the world in that year. Honduras has also took the first place back in 2011, according to the office's last report.

In the Americas, homicide rates have been higher than those of Europe and Asia since the mid-50s, The study described the situation as "the effects of consistent political and crime-related violence."

Prosecutor accuses French teens in family murder plot

Two teenage French girls are accused of plotting to kill family members and stabbing the younglings to serious injury. The 13-year-old girls attacked the 6-year-old boy after school on March 28. The doctor later revealed that the wound was very serious. 

The teenagers has recently admitted their intention to kill other members of the family, the prosecutor added, evidence such as drawings and text messages are founded by authorities. 

Sources states that it is still unclear why the girls wanted to harm the little boy and other family members. An attempted murder is punishable by life in prison in France, but that could be reduced to a maximum of 20 years for juvenile offenders.

Barack Obama, President of The United States stated on Tuesday that there's an amount of 7.1 million people that had signed up on federal or state exchanges for coverage under the health care law . now often refer as 'The Obamacare'. 

Obama claimed victory at a White House ceremony, saying the program has been overall successful, despite not having the support of the republican and vilified relentlessly by the GOP.

Earthquakes in many countries form "The Ring of Fire"

Northern Chile and surrounding countries has experienced an 8.2 quake Tuesday night, The people around that area are now experiencing what they call as "The Ring of Fire". "The Ring of Fire" is a string of recent earthquakes that forms a circle areas on the Pacific Rim.

A magnitude 5.1 quake hit Los Angeles last week, followed by aftershocks along the California coast. And South America will be on the lookout in coming days for aftershocks that have already started following Tuesday night’s temblor. Both cities lie along the so-called Ring of Fire, where two plates underneath the earth’s surface occasionally bump up against other plates

Russia expresses Anger Over German Minister's Crimea Comment

The German ambassador was summoned by Russia's Foreign Ministry in rage to protest a German minister's after his controversial statement comparing Russia's current situation of Crimea to Adolf Hitler's policies.
 
The Russia's Foreign Ministry felt that it is absolutely rude and unethical to compare their incorporation of Crimea into Russia to Adolf Hitler's take over back in 1938. The ministry said Russia considers this excursions by the German minister as somewhat a provocation. Further more,  they've summoned the German ambassador Thursday to hand him a formal note of protest

As for now, The German Foreign Ministry had no comment on the issue.

Scrapyard worker triggers off World War II bomb

A scrapyard workers unintentionally triggered a World War II-era bomb, the bomb killed seven and injuring 19 victims. Before the tragedy happened, the device was initially discovered at a construction site in Bangkok. The bomb is later on moved to a scrapyard before workers attempt to break the bomb down into smaller parts.

Police of Bangkok said that they suspect the bomb was planted during the World War II era when Bangkok, while an ally of the Japanese, was invaded by both America & Britain back in 1944, though the bomb's origin is still unclear as for now.

  The Italian navy rescued hundreds of migrants from overcrowded boats that could've drown due to buoyancy imbalance in the Mediterranean Sea south of Sicily. However, this incident has also reflects the overpopulation of illegal migrants in the Europe countries.

  According to officials, most of them consists of migrants from the African nations such as Eritrea and Somalia. Furthermore, Italy has been known as one of the most well known getaway for migrants to migrate to Europe by sea.

Brazil tries to eliminate child prostitution for World Cup 2014

  With the World Cup 2014 just around the corner, government of Brazil along with the soccer officials has been trying to terminate the child prostitution issue. With the World Cup just two months away, the government of Brazil along with the soccer officials are trying their best to eliminate any social disturbance that might cause negative impression to the nation's reputation.

  Despite the country's promise to eliminate all child prostitution, The amount of child prostitution is around half a million. According to insiders, the government is trying to root out child prostitution because that in around 2 months time, Brazil will be filled by nearly 600,000 tourist, and certainly they wouldn't be delighted by naked per-adolescent all around the streets.
